4/26/10: Framed the fencing with cedar boards and bricks on the bottom! We will add triangle spots on the corners for small flower beds, and get the bricks lined up better next time. So thankful for my friend Kyle who owns the skills to make this happen! Started seeing the beans sprout up today :)

4/24/10: Fenced off the plot with plastic gridding and wooden steaks. More things are growing!

April 19, 2010 - They're growing!

Beginning my First Garden @ Puyallup Community Gardens

Here is what the original lot looks like before ANY weeding/compost/cultivating/etc.
On March 28, my dad and I cultivated the lot with 2 in layer of organic compost. He said he had fun, but only because he was spending time with me! ;)

April 5, Bri and planted 3 rows of veggie seeds.

On April 12, Kyle helped sow the rest of the rows. Here are the strawberry roots!


We almost finished! There are 1.25 rows that have yet to be sowed with seeds, but we've got some planning in the works!
